Los cuatro art\u00edculos que integran esta entrega, aunque distantes en tiempo y disciplina, dialogan entre s\u00ed desde esa misma interrogante, mostrando las m\u00faltiples y a veces contradictorias formas en que religi\u00f3n y sociedad se han entrelazado en nuestra historia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El trabajo del Dr. Albino Rojas documenta c\u00f3mo la Iglesia Cat\u00f3lica, a partir de la enc\u00edclica <em>Laudato Si&#8217;<\/em>, ha traducido su doctrina social en acciones concretas de cuidado de la Casa Com\u00fan en la Arquidi\u00f3cesis de Caracas, mostrando una fe que se hace compromiso ecol\u00f3gico y comunitario. En sinton\u00eda con esa vocaci\u00f3n comunitaria, el estudio de la antrop\u00f3loga Nelly Pittol sobre la Sociedad de Damas de Nuestra Se\u00f1ora del Carmen en Araira rescata la memoria de un siglo de organizaci\u00f3n laical femenina que, a trav\u00e9s de la devoci\u00f3n popular, construy\u00f3 identidad, patrimonio y tejido social en un pueblo del estado Miranda. La Dra. Elizabeth Pati\u00f1o, por su parte, propone la espiritualidad de la ternura como fundamento pedag\u00f3gico, recuperando saberes ancestrales e ind\u00edgenas para pensar una educaci\u00f3n que forme personas conscientes y compasivas, m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de los marcos institucionales de la fe. Cierra el n\u00famero el art\u00edculo de \u00c1ngel Mu\u00f1oz Flores sobre Tom\u00e1s Lander, pr\u00f3cer decimon\u00f3nico que denunci\u00f3 con firmeza la influencia eclesi\u00e1stica sobre la ense\u00f1anza y abog\u00f3 por una educaci\u00f3n laica como condici\u00f3n de la Rep\u00fablica, ofreciendo as\u00ed el contrapunto hist\u00f3rico necesario para calibrar con justicia el peso de la Iglesia en la esfera educativa venezolana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El tema central que proponemos para este n\u00famero es, por tanto, <strong>fe y esfera p\u00fablica: educaci\u00f3n, comunidad y ecolog\u00eda<\/strong>. Desde una perspectiva ecum\u00e9nica, que no reh\u00faye la tensi\u00f3n, sino que la asume como fecunda, buscamos mostrar que la pregunta por el papel de la religi\u00f3n en la vida colectiva, ya sea para reclamarla, cuestionarla o resignificarla, sigue siendo una tarea propia del pensamiento cr\u00edtico y creyente de nuestro tiempo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>Rev.
